THE Year Zero: Summer 2019
It would be hard to embroider how influential THE Clothing was back in the days in their beloved home at Cubao City. Even at the time when there was only a fraction of the number of clothing brands that there are now, there weren't many labels that had THE’s insane and supporting crowd. It was the uniform of skaters, fixed-gear cyclists, graffiti artists, musicians, and many local brand supporters. As one of the well-established labels in Filipino streetwear, THE has been around in the outlying local industry and underground culture since its establishment in 2007.
THE dropped their Summer 2019 collection last Friday, April 12 in Cubao Expo. The release was set at 5pm, and supporters, friends, and fans have gathered to line up earlier than expected. There were live sets, drinks, and a photo exhibit can be found as well.
