In time for the holidays, Episodes drops their “i am home” collection

Home is where the heart is, but most of all: home is where we make it and is something entirely shaped by us. This statement is what Philippine independent clothing brand, Episodes, wants to put forth in time for the release of their newest collection: i am home on December 12, 2020; just in time for the holiday season.

A year in the making, this proudly homegrown streetwear label's new release is a reflection of this unpredictable year and derived from a multitude of shared thoughts and feelings of how life and daily routines have changed adapting to this pandemic and times where things haven't been the most smooth-sailing.

At a time of trying to figuring things out and navigating around this new normal, this collection is all about making people feel at home and comfortable in crazy times. Think comfy college-style sweatshirts and heavy-duty grocery totes for your Christmas rush, or essentials run, to smooth slides and wool bathroom rugs as home must-haves, all created and curated by the Episodes Crew.

The focal point, however, has to be the collaborations that Episodes did in this collection, in line with their love building connections and relationship with fellow artists and creatives.

The first one being the Episodes Scribbled Logo Tee. A playful, reinvented version of their classic logo tee, their signature monicker in the front - all blown up like a balloon - was drawn freehand by the crew, with local creative Elijah Contillo, who created the vibrant back design that captures the brand's elements and energy.

There's also the Episodes®/Hogsmith Apron, which is considered the most anticipated piece for this collection. Brought to life by Hogsmith Enterprises, this industrial, denim washed apron is a twist to your ordinary kitchen apron and was inspired by many people, including the crew's creative director, becoming master chefs in the kitchen during this past year.

In line with their vision of creating garments that want to channel different shared experiences that people can connect with, Episodes hopes that this collection can shed light that home is more than a place. Home can be a person, a feeling, a memory they treasure and can find solace and solitude in, and hopes that everyone can discover and have to themselves, even if it takes time.
